xavier wood, left, and ryan taylor, centre, celebrate the 1-1 draw at Fulham on Friday.
xavierwood: I like them both.
The way they’ve played in the past and how they’ve done it this season, I like the one who has been in that position for longer.
When you see the way they work and the intensity they have, it’s hard to see how anyone else can come close to matching it.
And I’m sure I can come back and beat them, too.
Ryan Taylor: I’m not looking at it as a battle.
It’s about getting out of my comfort zone.
When I was younger, I was playing in the first team and I didn’t know what I was doing.
Now I do, and I feel I’m getting better and better at it.
Ricky van Wolfswinkel: It’s hard, but I’ve got to give credit to Ryo because he’s just played so well.
He’s shown the ability to go out there and take control of a game.
He had a great game against Norwich last week.
He was fantastic.
I think that’s what we’re missing in this league, you don’t have a lot of goal scoring options, and he’s got that.
André Villas-Boas: I’ve always thought he’s one of the best goalkeepers in the league, even before I got here.
He is a very good goalkeeper, he’s always looking to get back into the game and he is a fantastic leader.
He has that leadership ability and he works hard on his game.
Alexandre Lacazette: He’s one who can play at any position.
I like his ability to play in the back, and if he gets on the end of a corner, he can get in behind and make a run.
I love how he moves, he has good pace and he makes great saves.
He will have a big role in the team, and it’s going to be very important to get him to get in that team-mate box.
James Milner: I think he’s going in a good direction, he is working very hard, he understands the league and he understands what he has to do to be successful.
Paul Pogba: He has all the qualities to play.
He just needs time.
He needs time, but he’s definitely at a stage now where he is getting a bit of experience in the Premier Leagues and he needs to take it to the next level.
Roberto Firmino: I don’t know if I’d be surprised if he makes the team.
He can score goals and he has all of the attributes to score goals.
He should definitely be part of the team in the future.
Adam Lallana: He is one of those players who’s never missed a game, and you never know when he’ll come back.
I’d like to see him get back in the side for the next game, but at the moment he’s focused on playing in this Championship and the League Cup, so we’ll see what happens.
Lukas Podolski: I feel he is one to watch.
He does a lot, he plays the same position he has been, he makes lots of runs, he defends well.
I’m very happy with his game and his leadership.
Tom Cleverley: I see him as a player who can improve every year, so it’s good to see he’s improving every day.
I can’t wait for him to be a big player in the next season.
Erik Lamela: He looks a bit different, he seems a bit out of place.
I just hope he can take that step and get a lot more minutes.
Nathan Ake: He doesn’t have the same style of play that he has in the last few years, but you can see that he’s doing things that I like.
I also think that he knows he has got to be better.
Toni Kroos: He hasn’t got the same quality of games, but every time I see his game, he brings it, he gives it everything.
I feel like he is in a bit better shape, and when he gets in there, he should be a great player.
Cameron Carter-Vickers: I have never seen him play against Arsenal before, so he’s not been involved in that, but when he comes on against Tottenham, he does a fantastic job.
He puts pressure on the defence, he keeps the ball, he always looks to make a pass, so I’m happy with that.
I know he’ll improve as he gets older.
Steven Defour: He can do it all, he looks to get the ball and he can score.
I would love to see a team who have a player like him in there.
Joe Allen: He had one of his best games, he scored and
